Shrimp! We ate the shrimp first in some awesome sushi, and the chefs added the shells to an amazing miso soup afterwards. They sure look creepy though.
This is not that miso soup-- rather it's an almond soup with red beans, boba, mochi, grass jelly and more. Soooo good! So Asian though-- I can't imagine a non-Asian getting used to the concept of eating something like this for dessert.
They would definitely appreciate french desserts from the Tea Salon by superstar chef Joel Robuchon though!!! Found at a fancy super-high end mall that just opened near Taipei 101. It's the kind of mall that has a dedicated children's Gucci store...
Of course we visited grandma, and she is looking great these days! Not surprisingly, she told us to have kids soon. And for Alan to hurry up and find a girlfriend. And for Pauline to find a boyfriend. And for Danny and Ajing to... well you get the picture.
So your delinquent relative Annie is finally sending out invitations for her wedding tomorrow, along with hotel and travel information. In the meanwhile, please visit www.annieandjeff.com for information and links to hotels!
It is not a easy job to take a photo with her eyes open because she is sleeping most of the time. When she is awake, that is the time she is crying to ask for feeding.
